Cindy Vergara

Back in high school, Cindy was voted “Most likely to take over the world”. And they really weren’t kidding. Cindy graduated with High Distinction from the University of Toronto with an Honours degree in Integrative Biology and Health before discovering she would much rather dissect legal briefs. Armed with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Windsor, Cindy rules when it comes to crafting airtight separation, domestic, and parenting agreements. Whether it’s a matter of hammering out where the children will live or who gets custody of the asparagus tongs, she can spot a loophole at a hundred paces, protect assets and anticipate tangential implications without blinking. Blessed with a rare combination of IQ and EQ, Cindy loves nothing more than to solve problems with creativity and humanity. Easy to talk to and a really good listener, clients praise her ability to lay out all the options and sensitively guide them through the challenging maze of family law. Where kids are involved, this one-time mentor for Big Brothers and Big Sisters can always be counted on to put the best interests of the child first. On those rare occasions when she is not chained to her desk, Cindy can usually be found working out with resistance bands, baking killer apple pies and, oh yeah, advancing that plan for global conquest.
