Claire Doi

Claire is that rare litigator who listens before speaking—an oddity in a profession built on monologues. Instead of grandstanding, she offers diligence, thought, and care. She turns legal complexity into practical solutions, with an eye for detail sharp enough to catch what everyone else misses. When she dissects a legal issue, it’s with the precision of someone who knows both the letter of the law and the intricacies of the problem. Claire applies her talents to a wide litigation practice, from commercial disputes to estates, construction, and employment matters.

At Western Law, Claire served as a caseworker with Community Legal Services, providing direct support to clients in need. In Toronto, she contributed to the Korean Legal Clinic as both a student volunteer and a member of its Grants and Fundraising Committee. Claire also spent a summer doing legal work for Toronto’s world-famous film festival (yes, the one that rhymes with “miff”).
