Eden Ifergan
Partner
The shortest distance between two points is not always a straight line; Eden gets it. She believes that mitigating, navigating, or solving clients’ problems should, usually, start with a phone call. During her many conversations, Eden has navigated a wide range of corporate/commercial litigation matters, including franchising, property and real estate disputes, employment issues, and trusts and estates matters. A skilled oral and written advocate, Eden recently co-authored a chapter in The Honorable Justice Archibald’s esteemed Annual Review of Civil Litigation, in which she explored the lack of judicial guidance on the admissibility of wrongfully obtained evidence in civil proceedings. Ultimately, she is most at home “on her feet”, helping clients reach their desired results, whether inside or outside a courtroom.
We also know Eden has occasionally knocked someone off their feet, literally. As a second-degree black belt in karate, our resident “sensei” spent years introducing martial arts to adults and children, alike. If you ask nicely, she might even show you a thing or two. We recommend you avoid asking her how many bones she has broken, unless time is not of the essence.
The host with the most, Eden’s favorite place is her kitchen, experimenting with healthy baking and regularly hosting family and friends. For Eden, thoughtfulness is time well spent with her community; she likes to say that it is the key to happiness. We couldn’t agree more
