Marcus Knapp

COUNSEL

Renaissance man? Multi-tasker? Legal encyclopedia? “Breadth”, rather, is the perfect word to describe Marcus’s litigation strength. Right out of the gate, Marcus saw the broadest range of law as a clerk at the Court of Appeal for Ontario, where he gained insight into the inner workings of the judicial process, which knowledge he now brings to bear on behalf of his clients. Subsequently, Marcus spent almost a decade honing broad-based commercial litigation experience and another near-decade at an insurance litigation boutique, helping insurers address all of their legal needs. With an arsenal of skills and knowledge built from this diverse background, Marcus assures us that he wants to spend the coming decades helping his clients with their problems, whatever they may be: there are certainly few legal issues he hasn’t encountered, and he welcomes new and novel problems, if they arise. Marcus’s goal is to provide the best client service possible, with a keen eye to finding practical and cost-effective solutions. Outside of tackling whatever legal issue comes his way, he loves to cook (often deploying the latest kitchen technology) and travel (Italy is a favourite destination, and he can now parlare un po’).
