Kendra Swallow
Associate
Smart like a fox but a good deal taller, Kendra is a towering presence in our family law group. One of the nicest assertive extroverts you’ll ever meet, she is a constant reminder that you can be fiercely kind and kindly fierce at the same time. With a particular set of impressive skills, Kendra is the one you want when it absolutely has to be done right. The one you want to hammer out delicate custody arrangements, defend against prejudicial allegations, and deftly protect assets; someone who can draft an airtight agreement with the same creative wizardry that goes into her artistic pastimes. It’s obvious that Kendra was born to be an advocate, but she took the scenic route to get there. Before earning her law degree, she studied theatre, music, history, and political science and even completed a Master’s degree in Public Administration. But that’s Kendra to a tee. Insatiably curious about everything. When she’s not navigating clients through the legal system, she can be found with a novel or a notebook in her hand, by a piano, in a yoga class, or giving back at the Family Justice Centre. Talk about setting the bar high.
