Jeffrey Weaver
ASSOCIATE
If you’d known Jeff during his time at the London School of Economics (LSE), where he meticulously weaved together technical papers on epistemology, you might not have predicted that he would end up orchestrating mergers and acquisitions and poring over shareholder agreements. We are not surprised: analysis is Jeff’s thing. His shrewd eye for detail and powers of critical thinking are invaluable to navigating through heady commercial transactions. He has an uncanny ability to spot weaknesses in contracts, formulate intricate clauses, and bring clarity to rather complicated deals. While he is known for his deadpan sense of humour and passion for any music with a distorted guitar, lesser known are some other prodigious skills: spouting sports stats, discovering new craft beers, and delving into new technology. One of Jeff’s party tricks is the ability to toss off quotes from Marcus Aurelius, who emphasized mental fortitude, turning obstacles into opportunities, and respect for others. Come to think of it, he might have been describing Jeff.
