Paul Pellman
PARTNER
Paul has practiced family law for eons (okay: for 40 years) and is a certified specialist in the discipline. He is an extremely experienced advocate, having appeared on dozens of trials and appeals. He also has experience as an adjudicator, having acted as a Dispute Resolution Officer in the Superior Court of Ontario and having served as a member of the Children’s Rights Panel through the Office of the Children’s Lawyer. An effective and experienced litigator, Paul’s practice also includes the negotiation and preparation of marriage contacts and separation agreements, as well as mediation and arbitration. He acts for a variety of individuals, both men and women, and has a special interest in grandparents’ rights. Paul believes that an effective advocate must be a chameleon: one who considers settlement when appropriate, yet is dogged and determined when required. Did we say “dogged”? A devoted dog-lover, Paul is not unlike his beloved pooches: energetic, enthusiastic, and always willing to take on a new challenge. Paul’s passion is contagious: his clients know that he will zealously advocate on their behalf, no matter the opposition. He is definitely someone we’re proud to have in our corner: and yes, he can bite!
