Andrea Sanche
Co-Managing Partner
Take it from us: Andrea gets things done. A commercial litigator, her practice focuses on investor liability matters, employment law, fraud cases, and complex contractual and commercial disputes. She has considerable experience with interlocutory motions, including jurisdiction motions and obtaining and resisting Mareva and Norwich orders. Andrea has been on her feet in the courtroom since her third day on the job, and she truly loves nothing more. We like to think this passion is what makes her a Best Lawyers in Canada™ in Corporate and Commercial Litigation. Although she is a tough and resolute advocate, Andrea’s peers most often remark that she is eminently reasonable, fair-minded, and in possession of a wicked sense of humour. These same (kind and brilliant!) peers recently voted her to Post City Magazines’ list of Toronto’s Top Lawyers. At heart, Andrea is an academically minded legal optimist, who is passionate about redressing injustice of all kinds. When she’s not battling it out in the courtroom, you will find her preparing a delicious meal for loved ones, complaining about the Raptors’ offense, and planning her next vacation off the beaten track. Although she loves “betting on the ponies”, she atones through her involvement with various lawyers’ associations and as a dedicated community volunteer. A reformed Winnipegger, Andrea never takes herself too seriously, and is predictably skilled at pushing cars out of ditches, jump-starting car batteries, and identifying the difference between a jambuster and a goldeye. She’s definitely someone you want in your foxhole.
